Have you noticed?

• Laughter has become rare and when it is heard, it declares its own appalling idiocy.
• People are miserable despite having surrounded themselves with material goods and belongings.
• Officials in this country are ruthless oppressors, money grubbers, power mongers, self-serving, thankless and arrogant. They have no interest in the welfare of the public and certainly no interest in honoring God. Their fair speeches make their real nature all the more detestable.
• Others own your inheritance. Foreigners have your education and your job. The loans you take out to pay this oppressive government are loaned to you from foreign nations.
• Your constitutional right to free speech in most places and especially where you work and go to school, is gone.
• We don't seem to get a break from natural disasters like hurricanes, tornadoes and floods. When you try to "get away from it all", you are then faced with ticks and lime disease, perverts and weirdos on their own sordid escapades in the woods, greedy opportunists building ugly structures of one sort or another to mar the countryside.
• People's behavior is appallingly lewd and base. Crimes which people commit seem to have no boundearies on how bizarre and utterly loathsome they can be.

The short list above could be extended till it reached Hell. God has taken away our dignity and beauty, our peace and prosperity. We are devoid of wisdom, and justice is all but unheard of in our day.

But why? Here is exactly why:

The ground of this nation is saturated with the blood of multiple millions of murdered children.

We may use terms like "sexually active" instead of slut; "abortion" instead of murder; but the Holy God will judge every act of rebellion and every sin with equity. He is no respecter of persons. Everyone who has had an abortion and everyone who has been complicit with an abortion will be held accountable for murder. The abortionist who murders for money and persuades women to murder their own children, has a very gravid guilt for which he will answer.

We cannot expect to secure the blessings of liberty - the blessing of a holy God, until we repent of our great sin and absolutely refuse to condone another such murder. Those who commit such a crime, must be held accountable in our courts for murder.
