What EXACTLY Is Wrong with Roman Catholicism?

Please examine one very clear doctrine of the Bible and compare that with a foundational doctrine of Roman Catholicism:

Hebrews 10:10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. 10:11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: 10:12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

The book of Hebrews in the Bible teaches explicitly and multiple times, that Jesus was sacrificed ONCE AND FOREVER.

Roman Catholic doctrine teaches that Christ is sacrificed over and over again in a ritual called the mass. They cannot both be right!

Please compare this clear biblical doctrine with the official teaching of Roman Catholicism. The word "But" which occurs in paragraph 1366 is the hinge upon which swings the damnable lie. This is subterfuge...an attempt to make their doctrine sound biblical. Satan is very subtle and will present falsehood in the most holy-sounding words:

From the official catechism of the Vatican - 1366: [Christ], our Lord and God, was once and for all to offer himself to God the Father by his death on the altar of the cross, to accomplish there an everlasting redemption. But because his priesthood was not to end with his death, at the Last Supper "on the night when he was betrayed," [he wanted] to leave to his beloved spouse the Church a visible sacrifice (as the nature of man demands) by which the bloody sacrifice which he was to accomplish once for all on the cross would be re-presented, its memory perpetuated until the end of the world, and its salutary power be applied to the forgiveness of the sins we daily commit.187

[NOTE HOW THE NEXT PARAGRAPH IS A COMPLETE ABROGATION OF THE WORD OF GOD:]

1367: The sacrifice of Christ and the sacrifice of the Eucharist are one single sacrifice: "The victim is one and the same: the same now offers through the ministry of priests, who then offered himself on the cross; only the manner of offering is different." "In this divine sacrifice which is celebrated in the Mass, the same Christ who offered himself once in a bloody manner on the altar of the cross is contained and is offered in an unbloody manner."188

When they tell you the Eucharist and the sacrifice of Christ are "one and the same", they mean it. Roman Catholicism teaches that Christ is actually present in the piece of bread which they sacrifice on the alters of Roman Catholic churches all over the world, thousands of times each day. This is why they will actually worship this piece of bread when its placed into a "monstrance" and put on the altar. That is blatant idolatry. Go ahead and ask a Roman Catholic priest if he has the power to change a piece of bread into the body, blood and divinity of Christ - he will tell you "Yes".

Jesus was sacrificed ONCE AND FOREVER. Either the Bible is right or the Roman Catholic church is right; but they are clearly at odds with each other. Don't be fooled, the errors of Rome are many, and those who are led astray by them will miss the real salvation offered by Jesus in His perfect sacrifice.

The millions of people (somewhere between 60 and 70 million) who were burned at the stake or otherwise tortured to death during the years of the inquisitions, were for the most part guilty of the following crime: Reading their Bible, and recognizing its authority rather than the Pope's. The inquisitions and the atrocities of the Roman Catholic Church that you may have read about in recent headlines are by no means a thing of the past. Satan is (and always has been) behind this false church and will continue to use it to deceive many into everlasting fire.
